TikTok Star Bella Brave has passed on at 10 years: 'She Was Fearless,' Says Heartbroken Mom

Bella Thomson, known to her online community as Bella Brave, has passed away at the age of 10. The social media star died peacefully on Sunday, July 14, her mother Kyla Thomson confirmed in a heart-wrenching update posted on TikTok.

“Our brave girl left her legacy here on earth to dance on the streets of gold on July 14, 2024, at 4:19 p.m. ET,” Kyla wrote alongside a video of her daughter dancing. “Bella passed peacefully in our arms.

Kyla continued her heartfelt message, urging Bella's followers to remember her daughter's legacy. "Bella would want you to remember: God is love, be brave, and you are never too old to bring a stuffy. #bellabrave," she concluded.

The news of Bella's passing has left her seven million TikTok followers devastated. Bella went viral for her vibrant personality and her family's documentation of her battle with life-threatening health challenges, including Hirschsprung’s disease and severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID).

Just days before her death, Bella was placed in a medically induced coma after suffering complications from a viral infection in her lungs. On July 10, Kyla posted an update on Instagram, sharing the gravity of Bella's condition: “They’ve told us they don’t know if she’ll survive this. I know she will. I know she has an army praying for her.”

An earlier post revealed that Bella had a viral infection in her lungs and might have developed Bronchiolitis Obliterans, also known as “popcorn lung,” an irreversible and chronic condition.

Despite her medical challenges, Bella's spirit remained unbroken.

In a poignant moment shared by Kyla, Bella spoke about her thoughts on Heaven: "Heaven has a lot of clouds, a big castle built of clouds. God would be there."
