Money Heist Professor, Alvaro Morte Announces West End Debut in New Play Barcelona Alongside Lily Collins

Álvaro Morte, globally renowned for his role as "The Professor" in the hit series Money Heist, took to social media to announce his starring role in the production, which will run for a limited 12-week engagement at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London's West End.
Sharing his excitement, Morte posted:
"And… Here we are!! BARCELONA. Come and see @lilyjcollins and me on stage in London’s West End for 12 weeks only from 21st October."
Set against the backdrop of a late-night encounter in Barcelona, the play explores the intriguing dynamic between an American tourist, played by Emily in Paris star Lily Collins, and a charming Spaniard portrayed by Morte. Promising a blend of humor, sensuality, and unexpected twists, Barcelona delves into the contrasts between the personas we project and the realities of who we truly are.
Written by acclaimed playwright Bess Wohl (Grand Horizons), the production is helmed by celebrated director Lynette Linton, known for her innovative work across London’s theatre scene.
Running from October 21st to January 11th, this limited engagement marks Morte’s highly anticipated West End debut, giving fans a unique opportunity to see him in a brand new light, live on stage.
