Coco and Ice-T Throw a Lavish Hello Kitty Extravaganza for Daughter Chanel s 8th Birthday

In an exclusive interview, Coco and Ice-T spill the details on their whirlwind week planning an opulent Hello Kitty-themed celebration for their daughter Chanel's long-awaited 8th birthday bash.

The model and her husband faced a tight schedule, given they had just a week to orchestrate a grand affair for their daughter, who missed out on a birthday celebration with friends the previous year due to illness.

Coco was heard saying, "She was sick for two months. For two years, she's like, 'I just feel like I need a party. Everybody else in my class has had a birthday party.'"

Initially treating Chanel to a Disneyland experience during their Thanksgiving visit to California, the couple learned of Chanel's desire to celebrate with friends upon returning to New York. Determined to make her wish come true, they enlisted the expertise of Nevaeh-Leh Events & Planning, coordinating the lavish event over the phone while still on the West Coast.

"I did this all over the phone," Coco explained. "We were just back-and-forth trying to make this happen. It turned out to be way beautiful."

The extravagant festivities included a faux cafe storefront adorned with sweet treats and a show-stopping three-tiered cake. The towering confection featured a fondant rainbow and a carousel topping, showcasing Hello Kitty and other beloved Sanrio characters.

While previous birthdays were family and friend reunions for Coco and Ice-T, this year was dedicated to their little girl and her friends.

"It was still 100 people," Coco chuckled. "Even bringing it down a notch was still a lot, but it was amazing. It was off the chain."

To immortalize the special occasion, Coco and the Law & Order: SVU actor ensured their daughter's annual birthday portrait was captured by photographer Jessie Marrero, who has been documenting Chanel's growth since she was two weeks old.

"I can't break the tradition now," Coco remarked. "She comes alive at photo shoots. She sees a camera, and she turns on."

Already displaying model-like behavior, Chanel playfully brushes off her mom's advice, insisting, "Mommy, stop! I can do this."

"She wants me to see the pictures for the first time when they come out," Coco explained, highlighting her daughter's unique approach to the annual photo tradition.
