Trent John Alexander-Arnold was born on 7th October 1998 in the West Derby suburb of Liverpool, Merseyside. He attended St Matthew's Catholic Primary School and later St Mary's College in Crosby.

At the age of six, he caught the attention of Liverpool FC's academy coach Ian Barrigan during a half-term camp. This marked the beginning of his journey with Liverpool's academy, where he trained regularly and eventually captained the club at various youth levels.
