Joey Lynn King, born on July 30, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, is an accomplished American actress.

Born to Terry and Jamie King, she entered the world of entertainment at an early age, beginning her professional acting career at just four years old with a commercial for Life Cereal.

King attended Phoenix Ranch School in Simi Valley, showcasing her talents not only in acting but also in a cappella singing at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center and performing with the Stage Door Children's Theatre in Agoura.

She has two older sisters, one of whom is actress Hunter King. Despite her Jewish background, King describes herself as not particularly religious.

Joey King's career took off with her voice role as Katie in the animated feature "Horton Hears a Who!" (2008). She then appeared in "Quarantine" (2008) and guest-starred in various television series, including "Ghost Whisperer," "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," "Entourage," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and "Medium."

King's breakthrough came in 2010 when she secured her first lead role as Ramona Quimby in the film adaptation of Beverly Cleary's book series, "Ramona and Beezus."
