Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, known for working with A-listers like Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, and Demi Moore, has passed away at the age of 34.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed on Saturday by his sister, Gris Guerrero, who launched a GoFundMe campaign to support the family following his passing.

“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” Gris wrote on the page, adding that his death was sudden and unexpected. The cause of death has not been revealed.

“He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more,” she continued. “Born and raised in Houston, TX, to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.”

She also shared that the family is currently arranging to bring him home to Houston, asking for support from well-wishers. So far, the GoFundMe has raised over $60,000.

Following his passing, Jesus’ family shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram Stories, thanking fans for their love and support.

“Our family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support during this hard time,” they wrote.

“Jesus was the brightest light, and we have never doubted that he touched the hearts and lives of everyone he came across. We have fallen into tears repeatedly reminiscing and wondering what we could have done differently to still have him with us.”

They added, “I don’t know how the world will go on without his light, but I know he’ll give us the strength to push past any obstacle. RIP Jesus, we all love you.”

With over 600,000 followers on Instagram, Jesus was a beloved figure in the hairstyling world, frequently sharing glimpses of his work with high-profile celebrities.

Most recently, he posted pictures of Kylie Jenner in Paris on January 31, including a mirror selfie of the two together.

Throughout his career, Jesus styled Demi Moore for the Governors Awards in November 2024 and Jennifer Lopez for her Interview Magazine photoshoot in October 2024.

He also worked with Katy Perry, Charli XCX, Rosalía, Addison Rae, Camila Cabello, and Dua Lipa, cementing his status as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after hairstylists.
