Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract with the club, committing his future to the Reds after another outstanding season.

The Egyptian star, who has once again delivered incredible performances, has scored 32 goals in 45 appearances so far this season across all competitions. Of those, 27 have come in the Premier League, making him the league’s top scorer. He has also provided 22 assists for his teammates.

Today’s announcement means Salah will extend his eight-year spell at Anfield, continuing his journey with Liverpool under new head coach Arne Slot as they aim for more major trophies.

“Of course I’m very excited,” said Salah. “We have a great team now. Before, we also had a great team. But I signed because I believe we can win more trophies and I want to keep enjoying my football.”

“It’s great — I’ve had my best years here. I’ve played eight years, hopefully it’s going to be ten. I’m enjoying my life here and enjoying my football. These have been the best years of my career.”
