In an unexpected twist, the police officer who recently arrested Justin Timberlake for driving while intoxicated reportedly didn't recognize the Grammy-winning superstar. The incident occurred on the morning of June 18, when Timberlake, 43, was pulled over on Long Island, New York, after leaving The American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

According to Page Six, the officer was unaware of Timberlake's fame. "The cop didn’t know who he was at first," a source told the outlet. During the arrest, Timberlake reportedly muttered, "This is going to ruin the tour." The officer, puzzled, asked, "What tour?" Timberlake responded, "The world tour."

The humorous exchange quickly went viral, with social media buzzing about Timberlake's assumption that the officer would recognize him and his ongoing Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

Details of the arrest reveal that Timberlake was stopped after running a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane. Upon pulling him over, the officer noted that Timberlake exhibited signs of intoxication, including bloodshot, glassy eyes, and the smell of alcohol. The arrest report, obtained by PEOPLE, mentioned Timberlake's unsteady gait, slowed speech, and poor performance on field sobriety tests. Timberlake admitted to the officer, "I had one martini and I followed my friends home."
