Actor Robert Knepper, famously known for his role as T-Bag in Prison Break has expressed his heartbreak over the devastating wildfires that have ravaged Pacific Palisades and other parts of Los Angeles County. In an emotional post, Robert reflected on the tragic loss of countless homes and shared his personal connection to one of the affected locations, Will Rogers State Park.

Knepper recounted a cherished memory from 2013 when he and his wife, Nadine, tied the knot during a two-hour break while filming Frank Darabont’s pilot Mob City. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Will Rogers’ ranch, with the park’s historic outdoor patio fireplace serving as the backdrop.

Describing the park as his “haven” since moving to Los Angeles in 1984, Knepper expressed feeling "gutted" by the destruction caused by the fires. Despite the devastation, he shared a message of hope, emphasizing that while the flames may consume physical spaces, memories remain indelible.

“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by these fires,” he wrote. “The only saving grace: Nothing can take away memories. They will endure.”

He posted" The devastating loss of oh so many homes in Pacific Palisades (as well as all of those lost in the fires in LA county) is horrific. Our own personal story is this: While shooting Frank Darabont’s pilot, MOB CITY, Nadine & I were given a two hour lunch break to “tie the knot” at Will Roger’s State Park - my haven, since moving to LA in 1984. Using Frank’s choice for a “licensed marriage officiator,” N & I were married in front of the once beautiful outdoor patio fireplace, at Will’s ranch (centered in the BG). The memory of our marriage ceremony will remain with us, always, as will the legacy of Will Rogers. I felt “gutted.” Our hearts go out to everyone affected by these fires. Only saving grace: Nothing can take away memories. They will endure."
